Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain an orderly environment by monitoring access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of experience as a security-related supervisor/manager, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
