DayTime Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related activities and observations according to site policies.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or property concerns.
- Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report unusual behavior, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to property management and appropriate contacts.
- Support daily building operations by assisting with visitor direction, answering routine questions, and communicating clearly with tenants, vendors, and emergency responders during security-related events.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be willing to undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses and certifications may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
