How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging protocols, and/or visitor management processes at a technology-focused location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access while maintaining accurate logs, key control records, and/or other access-related documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to identify access concerns, report maintenance or policy issues, and support security-related operations.
Assist with screening deliveries, directing guests, and enforcing site policies related to restricted areas, equipment spaces, and/or other sensitive locations.
Minimum Requirements
This is primarily a driving post.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
