As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Compliance in Murfreesboro, TN, you will have a reliable base schedule with the ability to earn more by picking up additional shifts. Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): you will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six‑month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: in addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next, with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and vehicle records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors while documenting security‑related observations, incidents, and daily activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws (qualified applicants with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements mandated by state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment.
• Hold a valid driver’s license if the position requires driving.

Pay

$16.33 per hour

Schedule

Fixed anchor shift: Monday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (six‑month commitment). Additional shifts can be claimed via the Claim‑A‑Shift platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
