Security Officer EMT Patrol Driver

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government research location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Maintain access control by monitoring access points and verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site protocols for a controlled government location.
- Support site operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and by assisting with evacuations, medical calls, or other security-related responses when needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- An EMT certification is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
