Job Description
As a Security Officer EMT Driver Patrol in North Haven, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while verifying access permissions and reporting maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support site operations by assisting with visitor direction, observing for policy violations, and following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines during daily routines and/or after-hours rounds.
Minimum Requirements
- An EMT certification is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
