Security Officer Educational Facility Patrol Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an education location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, offering directions and support while helping to address security-related concerns.
• Support a welcoming learning environment by observing daily activity, communicating with school personnel, and assisting with security-related requests as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

$19.00 - $20.00 / Hour

DayTime: Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
