What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points for the distribution and warehouse location, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Support truck gate and dock access activity by confirming appointments, checking identification, and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals, departures, and/or restricted access issues.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions, access concerns, and/or policy violations within varying working environments and conditions.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
