About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Route Assessment in Southaven, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare-related location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and support visitor, staff, and vendor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
