Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Mount Vernon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help coordinate communications, support incident response, and monitor activity across the site. In this driving post, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Job Schedule

  • Daytime: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor communications systems, receive calls for assistance, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a timely, professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining accurate activity and incident logs.
  • Cook up with site personnel, visitors, and/or emergency responders to relay information, support access activity, and help address security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, noting unusual conditions and reporting them according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
