Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit
About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, following visitor procedures, and documenting security-related events in required logs and reports.
- Support site emergency and evacuation protocols by directing foot traffic, assisting with access control measures, and relaying information to the appropriate personnel as needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
