Security Officer - Driver Patrol Specialist

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed residential patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and property activity, assisting with visitor interactions and reporting unauthorized persons, vehicles, and/or unusual conditions.
• Support Allied Universal standards at the location by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and communicating with residents, property representatives, and/or local responders as needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
