As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Emergency Support in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures for a professional financial services environment.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
- Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
