Security Officer - Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Oshkosh, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, badge activity, and/or visitor logs to help confirm that only authorized individuals are permitted access to restricted and general areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity according to site policies and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, parking locations, and perimeter, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document access-related events, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
