What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and access protocols for a utilities location.
- Monitor lobby activity, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in and/or sign-in processes, and report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate contact.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services or site leadership when appropriate.
- Answer phones, provide directions, maintain front desk logs and records, and support day-to-day security-related administrative duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, controlling access to designated areas, and following established post orders and client-facing procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
