What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor screening, credential verification, and/or entry and exit monitoring at the location.
  • Monitor doors, gates, checkpoints, and authorized access points to help support security-related policies for employees, contractors, deliveries, and guests.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access records related to arrivals, departures, deliveries, and unusual activity in accordance with site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and access points, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Skills
