Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will drive assigned routes, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and/or management.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
