Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, assisting with authorized entry, directions, and general support for the location community.
• Document incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions, and communicate with campus contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
