As a Security Officer DoD Secret Clearance Required Patrol Driver in McKinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
- Prepare clear and timely incident reports, communicate observations to appropriate personnel, and support compliance with established security-related protocols.
Requirements
- Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
