As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and driving assignments, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.49 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and help maintain appropriate access control for authorized personnel and deliveries.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
