Security Officer - Distribution Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol Observation in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
