Security Officer Distribution Facility

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help monitor access points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries while following badge, credential, and visitor management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Support screening and inspection processes for people, vehicles, packages, and incoming or outgoing materials as directed by site rules and security-related procedures.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
