Security Officer Dispatch Operator

About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Framingham, MA, to serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. This dispatch professional role supports security-related operations through clear communication, incident coordination, and attentive monitoring. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, phones, and/or other communication systems to receive reports, document activity, and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Coordinate dispatch support for incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations by prioritizing calls, communicating updates, and helping direct the appropriate response within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Complete detailed logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate important information during shift changes to help support consistent operations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
• Position Type: Part Time
• Schedule: Day Time - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 03:00 PM to 11:00 PM
