About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate visitor documentation and complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant security-related information to site leadership and incoming personnel.

Requirements

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Access control and badge systems experience.
• CPR certification.
• Computer/tablet proficiency.
• Customer service experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
