Security Officer Data Center - Overnights

About the Role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. Responsibilities include supporting access control, reporting observations, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a data center location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, perimeter, entrances, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements while maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Report facility hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Note: At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

• Friday: 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Saturday: 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
