Security Officer Data Center

About the role

As a Security Officer Data Center in Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a telecommunications and technology location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility hazards.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Pay

$23.17 / Hour

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
