Security Officer - Customer Service Desk

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry points, verify access permissions, and support visitor and vehicle screening practices in accordance with location requirements.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols, and assist with follow-up actions according to post instructions.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
