Security Officer Customer Care Patrol

As a Security Officer Customer Care Patrol in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report security-related concerns involving visitors, deliveries, restricted areas, and/or sensitive equipment.
• Support site operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, completing routine reports, and communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and/or first responders when needed.

Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
