Security Officer Critical Facility Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location as an unarmed officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and report discrepancies according to site-specific protocols.
• Support access control, incident reporting, and other security-related duties while working in environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 years old for armed roles.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Security-related experience.

• Alarm panel experience.
