About the Role

As a Security Officer Credential Validation Driver in Rome, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This part-time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. You will manage site entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and help deter incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Document incidents, access-control activity, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
