About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring access activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible presence that helps deter incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Support facility operations by monitoring contractor, vendor, and delivery access, following site traffic procedures, and reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns to site contacts.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$20.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
