Security Officer Credential Management

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and documenting arrivals and departures.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.94 / hour

• Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
