As a Security Officer Credential Control in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate relevant information during shift changes.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay and Schedule

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.16 / Hour
