Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coordinator in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. • Day: Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a corporate technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper chain of command when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related events, incidents, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols.
• Support emergency and business continuity procedures by assisting with evacuations, directing foot traffic, and communicating clearly with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
