Security Officer Corporate Investment Headquarters

About the role

Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers to oversee a Corporate Headquarters located in the Hudson Yards Area of Manhattan. Positions are part time with shifts available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during morning, evening, and overnight hours. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with the general public daily as well as with client staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• At least 2 years of security-related experience
• Valid New York State Guard Card
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred)
• Access control and badge experience (preferred)
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only

Pay

Hourly pay rate: $24.95 / hour
