About the role

As a Security Officer Corporate Insurance in Wilton, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, support access awareness, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout offices, lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to confirm that entry procedures, identification requirements, and/or escort protocols are followed according to location guidelines.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directional inquiries, and/or maintaining awareness of conditions that may require a security-related response.

Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
