Security Officer - Construction

About the role

As a Surveillance Security Officer with GardaWorld Security Services, you will monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity, document incidents, respond quickly to threats, conduct patrols, control access, analyze systems for vulnerabilities, collaborate with law enforcement, and ensure the safety of individuals and property. The role is based in Lancaster, TX and involves working in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. GardaWorld Security is the only guarding security company certified by Great Place to Work. Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license (no restrictions)
• Ability to provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• Possess a state license if required

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $20.50 (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)

Schedule

Multiple full‑time and part‑time positions available; specific shifts and schedules will be discussed during the interview process.
