As a Dispatch Officer in a retail location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support prompt responses to security-related concerns. This role combines strong customer service and clear communication with a visible presence that helps to deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Monitor communication systems, receive calls for assistance, and coordinate the timely dispatch of personnel to support security-related incidents, service needs, and routine activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details and sharing updates with site leadership and/or responding personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to calls, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related communications and dispatch functions.
• Support regular and random patrol activity by tracking officer status, relaying post instructions, and communicating conditions observed around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Schedule: Daytime, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
