Security Officer Commercial Mobile

About the role

A Allied Universal® Commercial Mobile Security Officer in West Palm Beach, FL, will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate visitor, patrol, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations and site needs.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard card is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
