Job Description
As a Security Officer in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a busy transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

- Day: Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and transportation-related activity to help to deter unauthorized access, support orderly movement, and follow post orders for reporting and documentation.
- Aid with access control, visitor screening, and routine observations of the location while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication with clients, guests, and team members.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
