Security Officer- Command Center Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide superior service to guests
• Maintain highly visible patrols to ensure a safe gaming experience
• Assure quality support to other departments to enable them to serve guests more effectively
• Promote property promotions and events
• Maintain public order and enforce safety rules
• Protect property and assets
• Investigate disturbances in hotel, casino, or racing areas
• Create fun and excitement with customers

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Effective communication (written and verbal)
• Previous customer service experience
• Able to handle stressful situations dealing with the general public
• Need tact when dealing with difficult customers
• Ability to run on level surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
• The ability to operate company motor vehicles
• Actively patrol sections/floors looking for interaction opportunities, answer calls while still maintaining the ability to build relationships
• The ability to multi-task as required (security officers cover a wide variety of different posts and work with all departments)
