Security Officer - Casino Security
Job Summary
The incumbent provides basic security coverage under the direction of the Security Supervisor. Essential job functions include ensuring adequate protection, preparing detailed incident reports, patrolling the casino, reporting unusual situations, and assisting in emergency situations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods, climb steps, and respond to emergency situations
- Handle basic duties and responsibilities of the position
Work Environment
- Exposure to casino-related environmental factors such as second-hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant exposure to the general public
- Frequent standing, walking, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, and tasting or smelling
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
