Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the location for policy violations, suspicious behavior, and maintenance or hazard-related concerns, and document observations through required reports and daily activity logs.
• Assist with emergency response activities, crowd management, and directional support during high-traffic periods, special events, and/or evacuations as directed by site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
