About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening access at entry points, and supporting security-related protocols for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry and exit logs, and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting conditions that could impact operations or security-related procedures.
• Support location policies related to restricted areas, vehicle access, and material movement, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or unauthorized removal of property.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
