As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Springdale, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify badges, observe assigned areas, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and visitor management activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, review identification and/or access authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, materials, and/or operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting access control concerns, damaged barriers, and/or other security-related conditions for reporting.
• Document daily activities, access-related events, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of access control systems.
