About the role
The Security Officer is responsible for protecting the client and assigned property from any criminal activity or trespassing.
Responsibilities
- Protects the client and assigned property from criminal activity or trespassing
- Remains calm in high-pressure situations while exhibiting patience and superb attention to detail
Requirements
- Must be a current TX-DPS Guard Cardholder
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 2+ Years of Security Experience
- Preferred: Military, and/or Law Enforcement Experience
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for long periods, and detain an individual if necessary.
Qualifications
- Must pass a physical fitness test
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent observational skills
- Previous surveillance experience
