What you get to do
- Serve as an integral part of the Security Team

- Respond to calls for security to de-escalate and resolve issues involving guests, employees, and the public
- Gain experience managing a Dispatch/Communications Center and responding to disturbances needing security and law enforcement response
- Facilitate all park-wide communication via radio, phone, and email
- Maintain records and logs to ensure important and timely information is accessible
- Maintain and enforce safety standards
- Maintain Security checkpoints and posts – inspecting all bags and persons accessing or leaving the property
- Complete routine patrols of the park and surrounding properties on foot and in patrol vehicles
- Provide guests, employees, and vendors with a safe and secure environment
- Work independently or within a team to provide a consistent message and security presence
- Respond and provide aid for emergency situations
- Complete incident reports
- Complete assigned tasks from management as needed

Position Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Minimum 1 year Security, Law Enforcement, or comparable experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in completing incident reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with high aptitude for computer software systems
- Must be able to act responsibly with a high attention to safety
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs
- Engages in extensive walking and standing throughout the entire work shift
- Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
- Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals
- Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat (both in and out of costume)
- Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement.
- Must be available to work shift rotations including: 7:00AM-3:30PM, 3:00 PM-11:30PM, and 11:00PM-7:30AM
- Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations
- Successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines
