Security Officer
About the role
We are seeking a Security Officer who excels at ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors. This role involves providing security services, proactive monitoring, responding to security threats, managing incidents, and maintaining knowledge of and following policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provides security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
- Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.
- Investigates and manages all security incidents and hazards on the premises.
- Maintains knowledge of and follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans.
- Facilitates planned drills and simulations.
- Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- NCI certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.
Qualifications
