Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer provides security services at Goodwill facilities. This position includes responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency response to safety and medical situations
• Patrol the building and grounds
• Intervene in disruptive or harmful situations
• Conduct investigations of reported incidents
• Prepare detailed written reports
• Respond to alarms at Goodwill non-retail facilities
• Learn and apply MEDIC First Aid, CPR, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Skills
• Respond to and treat medical emergencies
• Escort or assist employees, participants, or visitors
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment

Requirements

• Two years' college education or equivalent experience
• Security experience with frequent public contact
• Valid Driver License required
• Ability to travel to different locations throughout southeastern Wisconsin

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of tasks, responsibilities, policies, and procedures
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts
• Skills in problem solving and project management

Schedule

Hours are 10AM until 6PM Monday- Friday.
