Security - Officer

Responsibilities

• Enforces company policies/procedures as they apply to the Internal Controls & Indiana Gaming Commission rules/ regulations
• Prepares reports and Security logs, dispatches Security Officers to assignments as required
• Maintains fire alarm systems, dispatches appropriate internal contacts and external agencies
• Escorts checks, tokens, cash, and patrons as directed
• Collections and transports drop boxes to the storage / holding area
• Administers first aid when required
• Responds to emergency situations when required and reports to emergency duty stations as directed by management following property safety protocols
• Reports all designated activities to the Supervisor/appropriate authority
• Patrols the perimeter and entire property
• May be required to ride a mountain bike style bicycle for a sustained period of time (1–2-hour intervals throughout an 8-hour shift)

Requirements

• Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs
• Able to work in an environment with secondhand smoke, loud noises, and large crowds
• Frequent vision abilities including close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time (7+ hours)

Pay

Hourly $17.00

Schedule

The Casino industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates.
